Got ta thinking about my broadband speed and how good it USED to be lol... so started tweaking the settings.

I've got a Vigor2820 and managed to get the following (from just over 3MB to 10MB):

It seems to produce more 'Uncorrected Blocks' probably due to the low SNR (lower is bad) and the Line Attenuation (Loop Att.) is a bit higher although that's not as bad. There's a new firmware update that should hopefully fix that. Plus usually takes a good 4 hours or so before the line starts to stabilise after a reboot.

Think I'll wait till I get home before I do the firmware upgrade as I won't be able to get backin if anything goes wrong... gotta have my "downloads" complete first.

This still isn't running as fast as when TalkTalk had control of my line but since they mucked it up and forced me back to BT I'll take what little increase I can get.
